What you will be doing?

Within this role you will work seamlessly across our London & Surrey based prison services. The services take a trauma informed approach to delivery of holistic health and wellbeing and recovery focussed interventions and various treatment programmes for individuals within these secure establishments who identify as having issues with drugs and/or alcohol.

This role will lead on delivering successful outcomes for key projects identified for the region. You will be working as part of the regional leadership team contributing to solving strategic challenges and achieving Forward’s vision and business plan, in collaboration with the Regional Manager.  

This will involve planning and mobilising for introduction and managing projects until reaching desired outcomes or set objectives.

There will be responsibility for direct line management of roles relevant to ongoing projects and partnership development.

What we are looking for?

A thorough understanding of the requirements of providing drug and alcohol services, including addiction treatment programmes preferably within a prison setting.
Previous experience of developing and implementing service improvements.
Demonstrable experience in the management of people and performance.
Experience of overseeing the collection, recording and collating of information, including statistical data, for audit, research and reporting purposes.
Ability to focus on key issues quickly and clearly using a positive problem solving approach.
Effective negotiating and influencing skills.

Level 5 management qualification, or equivalent work experience.
Project Management qualification or equivalent work experience.
